As your SYRWCD Division 5 Board Member since 2014, I am dedicated to safeguarding our community’s water supply for both residential and agricultural needs. With this deep understanding of state and local water regulations and a proven commitment to serving our community, I’m ready to leverage this experience and leadership skills with my newest role with the Santa Ynez Community Services District.
I will focus on sound ground water management to keep our valley vibrant and strong, ensuring Santa Ynez remains a thriving community for generations to come.

I am a 12-Year Santa Ynez Homeowner: I am deeply invested in our community.
Leadership Experience: I currently serve as Director and Board Vice-President for the Santa Ynez River Water Conservation District, with five years as Chair of the Eastern Management Area Ground Sustainability Agency, ensuring compliance with the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act.
Engineering Expertise: I am a seasoned Aerospace and Defense engineer, contributing to revolutionary projects like the B-2a Stealth Bomber, Supersonic B-1b Bomber, and the Missile Defense Ground-based Interceptor. My engineering expertise will be an asset to the SYCSD board and our community.
National Security Advocate: I have a track record of dedication to protecting the nation and supporting our servicemen and women.
Community Commitment: I am focused on maintaining and upgrading vital infrastructure to keep Santa Ynez vibrant and strong.
The SYRWCD manages ground and surface water in the Santa Ynez Valley.. The SYCSD plays a vital role in maintaining our community’s quality of life by managing wastewater collection and treatment, overseeing solid waste and recycling, and protecting our local environment. By ensuring safe and efficient services, the district safeguards public health and keeps our infrastructure strong, making it a cornerstone of our community’s well-being. By serving on both the SY CSD and SYRWCD, am uniquely positioned to ensure both boards make prudent decisions to safeguard our critical infrastructure.
